PARAMETRIC VESSEL/STRUCTURE

PARAMETRIC VESSEL/STRUCTURE

Oh boy, Getting real with the 3D! Not gonna lie the lecture felt deadly, my brain as soon as class was over was just gone. GONE. This class is a lot of fun but it takes a lot of brain power to fully understand how each component works and what they do. Sometimes I get lost in the definition and I have no idea what I've been doing and what does what. But that's okay cause eventually I figure things out!

Here Is the start of my 3D shape:

I didn't want to make the generic "Circle" like we did in the demo for class so I tried experimenting with POLYGON.

I had no idea why the sizes were so drastic, then I realized it was probably the number sliders I had on my "CDM" construct making the radius of the different shapes very far from each other.
So once again I tried all the way from the beginning again, this time looking at the our demo creations from class as a guidance.

Am I doing something wrong with domain? range? I have no idea haha, I feel like I cant fully understand setting the Domain to " __ to __" (3 to 7)

Any ways I continued to play around and change my definition till I realized what I did wrong. It seemed like I was because I attached the "Random" component to "Rotate" instead of my "Polygon" shape.

And finally I figured it out! Time to play around with the number slider till I find something I like

I wanted to try a fun colour so I went for this really pretty pastel purple.

I added rotate to see what would happen and it wasn't much of a rotate, like by twisting it, it was more so of creating multiples of the shape and rotating it. Either way it made these really pretty ripples!

Here are some of my Iterations for my Vessel Structure.
I wasn't sure if the iterations were supposed to have the same "numbers" or just from the different seeds so I added one more funky looking one :)

Heres an Animated GIF !!
